LIFE AS I KNOW IT

1.10.2012

Gifts of love, luck, and indulgence.

Though the holidays are long over for another 11-12months, the feeling of joy and happiness still lingers within me. Would you believe me if I said I still haven't properly gone through all of the lovely gifts I've received from all of the lovely people I love? Yup. Still all packed right next to me, just waiting to be played with. I was thinking of doing a big post and show you guys all that I've received, but I think I'll separate them in smaller posts? Still haven't decided yet. Definitely more to come!

Today, I'd like to share a long, overdue package sent to me by the lovely Miss Vicky of Vanity Fashionista. If her name rings a bell, we did a swap this past summer! This time around, we sent each other late birthday/Christmas packages. She really spoiled me so. ♡
HK x Liberty London = kawaii-ness!

Confession: I've gobbled up 95% of the candy. lol. The starbursts were my fav though! Definitely different from the ones we have here.

(LOVING THE BEAUTY BLENDER SPONGE AND THE FACE SCRUBBIE; future posts on these coming soon.)

I think I've got my work cut out in trying everything! I'm especially hoping for more rain in LA (and hoping for it to be a day where I go out) so I can use the umbrella. So cute! XD Thank you so much, Vicky! Some day...JYJ/YG/anything to meet you across the pond! ♡

A few weeks ago, I was luck enough to win a giveaway!

It was a mini giveaway snuck into one of Steph's post about her lip butter haul! She sent me her favorite in "Cotton Candy" along with some yummy looking candy. Oh man, I'm definitely loading up on extra sugar. lol. Thank you so much! ♡ (Oh, and hopefully I'll do a lip butters post soon! I think I've got all the colors I wanted...for now.)

And, to round out this post will be my Missha haul from their clearance sale this past December.
L-R: Professional Highlighter Brush, Professional Base Shadow Brush #7, Perfect Concealer in "Light Beige", Oxygen Micro Essence Peeling gel.

First thoughts? Considering this is my first time trying anything Missha, I'm very impressed! I've used everything and am very happy with what I've purchased. Hoping to have more extensive posts on these soon!

A friend of mine was visiting LA for the first time from Korea/Brunei during Christmas/New Year's so we did a ton of touristing! It was exhausting tbh, but I still had a lot of fun.

I wore my little "hopi" coat that day along with my brown riding boots. West meets the Far East?

Dec. 2011: Venice Beach, CA

I've reached 200+ readers!
Thanks for always reading my little ol' blog!
