Deck the Hauls: Getting it all together.

Hello! It's been a good weekend. Work was stress free and so was my time at home, as well as with my friends. :]

On Saturday, I went shopping with my little sister. Yes, we bonded and I gave her the talk over something that she did which made me so disappointed in her. Hopefully my message came across. -sigh-

Anyways! The Body Shop was having a promo sale where you can pick a random card that has discounts from #% off an item or a buy 1 get 1 free (which I got!) coupon to use in the store. I never really buy anything at the body shop, but I couldn't let this deal pass up!

I have combination skin which tends to break out often, so their Tea Tree
products peaked my interest. I used them last night and haven't see noticeable
changes yet, but will continue to use them as part of my nightly face wash routine. :]

After the mall, I finally headed to Ulta in search for the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion which I've been wanting to get for a while (and luckily for being a rewards member, this potion gets me 3x the rewards points!). But, of course, I couldn't help by look into their clearance section as well. :D

NYC Metro Quartet Eyeshadow in Chelsea Chic - $1.99 (reg $3.99)
Urban Decay Shadow Primer - $18
Ulta Professional Eye Highlighting Wand - $3.50 (reg $14)
NYC Lippin' Large Lip Plumper in 'Toffee Kiss' - $1.99 (reg. $3.99)

The colors are a bit on the lighter, neutral side. I tried them out today and they add a little
hint of color, but will continue to play with them to see if i can get better results.

I've been wanting to get a concealer to brighten up my eyes, and I was lucky enough to come across this eye highlighting wand by Ulta Professional.

Here's what it claims to do -- Instantly refresh and brighten your look by applying light infused concealer and powder around the eye to lighten the appearance of dark circles.

I got happy when I found that the color was a very light, creamy off white color. Good for my pale skin tone.

This is the spongey side for the powder; "Rounded soft tip applicator is used to apply soft shimmering powder to the inner corners and under brows to open up eyes. "

I used the spongey side today and I really like it so far. And, what a great steal! So happy. :]

This is the other pencil side: "Creamy matte pencil tip eliminates shadows of the outer corners and lower lashline for an instant lift. This can also be used as a spot concealer as needed."

'Toffee Kiss" is a nice brown with a tint of purple (though the picture makes it look brown). It gives my super dry lips a zinging feeling, which lets me know it's doing some kind of moisturizing. I'm liking it so far!

And, for my last purchase of the weekend, I came across 4 of these "Wet n Wild" Mega Eyes palletes at a local Ross for just $4.99! Couldn't pass this deal up either!
(L-R) - Belgian Chocolates, Egyptian Sands, Island Blues
Super excited to try these out since I've seen so many positive reviews on them. The set also came with an extra Belgian Chocolate palette, so I gave it to my mom. :]

I also saw some color club nail polishes, but had to refrain for now. -sigh-

Ok, now...I must settle down on my spending. but...good deals make me a very happy camper!! :]

Until next time...じゃね〜!♥♥♥

  1. Hey, new reader here. :) The highlighter looks promising, I'll be sure to check it out next time I'm at Ulta. And my Ulta is conveniently next to a Ross, so :D. And I used to hate NYC, but they're really stepping up with their lip products.
