One of my goals for the upcoming year is to "embrace" my fashionista, and while that may coincide with my other goal to "save more money", I've opted to challenge myself to use whatever I have for as many outfits that I can come up with. This also goes for the whole "layering" technique that, when done right, makes an outfit that much more complete and put together. In my opinions, these outfits need a lot more work, but it's a start.
Not sure if this one really counts, but I wore this to the last interview/meeting I had last Friday.
Before, I'd be so comfortable in the same outfits that I've worn before (oh my, yes I was and still am an outfit repeater! lol), but I hope to pair various items with others and some just make it work.
Through creativity and inspiration, I'm determined to release the inner "fashionista" that greatly wants to be freed.
[on left] Cropped sweater with elbow patches: Zara, Shorts: local store near my work,
Flats: Cotton On, Bracelets: Nordstrom and H&M
[on right] Graphic long sleeve: Korean fashion store, Floral shorts: F21, Leggings,
Fringed booties: Aldo, Bag: Rakuten online shop
Not sure if this one really counts, but I wore this to the last interview/meeting I had last Friday.
Top: Gap, High-waisted skirt: Macy's, Loafer heels: Macy's,
Watch, pearl necklace + bracelet: borrowed from my kaasan.
