Hello!! Hope all of you had great weekends! Mine turned to be quite a busy one as I made trips to the downtown LA area all in workings efforts for the ISA Festival coming up this weekend! I'll post the video ad at the end. :]
Anyways, I met up with my good high school friend for a day of...SHOPPING! We actually hit up two malls (I know, right?). I actually bought stuff! And at H&M!...but I won't be showing them to you guys just yet. heh. What I do want to share with you guys is my recent discovery of a "Skin Food" location! As we were walking to our main destination for going to mall #2, I spotted "Skin Food" in the same familiar font as the Korean cosmetic brand! And as we walked closer to it, we entered such a cute little store filled with Skin Food products! My friend had mentioned that she liked their nail polish, so upon entering, we went straight for the section lined up with the cute little bottles of polish. The girl working there was super sweet and nice and first gave us a sample of the Black Sugar Mask, and afterwards...gave us a sample of the Rice Mask Wash off (even before buying anything~ she's good. lol)
I bought one bottle of the Milky Creamy Nail Polish in PK001.
Look how nicely wrapped the little bag is! And she included even more of the masks samples!
I was totally not prepared to find such a store on our little, casual shopping trip, and now I want to go back and pick up some more things to try! -sigh- I don't know if having this store so close to me is a good thing after all...lol.
Have any of you tried Skin Food products? Any recommendations?
Thanks for reading! I leave you with the trailer for the event I'll be working at:
It's gonna be BIG. I've worked at quite a few ISA shows prior to this one...but...dude, this one will be one for the records. Excited. Nervous. Anxious. Scared. lol. If any of you guys are in the area, please come!

ReplyDeleteTheir nail varnishes are in the cutest bottles! <3
Whenever you're in the SoCal area, you should definitely go check one out! Heh. The milk bottle is just one type of nail polish they have. They have a regular bottle one which I hope to try the next time around. ^^

Milky creamy, eh? I'm intrigued! Are you going to do a swatch of the nail polish sometime soon? :) I'm curious about their products, but haven't seen a Skin Food store (but I do know of the one you speak of in LA, hehe) and I think they've already opened one somewhere in OC as well.

ReplyDeleteSeems like the masks are a favorite amongst most!! I tried out the rice one today and I'm liking it a lot!! May just have to purchase myself a full size after I get through these samples! (Thanks for the comment!)
ReplyDeletemost korean brands have good nail polishes. :) i like skinfood's caviar line. :D you might want to get samples of those and some people say they like skinfood bb creams. of course you must also try the

ReplyDeleteugh i want to try skin food so bad! but dont know where to buy it without going online
ReplyDeleteOkay seriously... your cat is ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteI heard that Skin Food's Black Sugar series' very popular!!! Legend...
ReplyDeleteAWWWWW.... I love you kitty!!!
My bestie and I used to love SkinFood when we were in high school. When Skin Food was introduced in Malaysia many years ago, we thought it was cool since it was a Korean brand. I loved the facial sheet masks and still use them occassionally now when I go home to Malaysia. My bestie used to use one of their facial scrubs and sweared by it. Not sure what the name was though :D
ReplyDeleteOh I've always wanted to try SkinFood! Its not available in Canada unfortunately - let me know how it is :)
ReplyDeleteNice Skinfood goodies~
ReplyDeletethe polish is so cute, makes me wanna go out and buy a bottle! :)
ReplyDeleteI tried a small amount of Skin Food a few months ago, it's pretty solid. I think I prefer Kiehl's skin care products over almost everything though :)
ReplyDeleteI love Skinfood! I wish we had physical stores here in the US. Unfortunately I have to do all my shopping online. I've only tried their kiwi mask so far, but I really like it. I hope the ones you got are just as good :D
ReplyDeleteTheir nail polishes are quite good! You should get more colours (I haven't tried the ones in the packaging that you got though... but the quality should be consistent).
ReplyDeleteThe nail polish bottle is adorable.
ReplyDeleteAw, your kitten is cute!!!
I'm Such a fan of skinfood! Korean beauty products are just freaking awesome! xxAnisa
ReplyDeleteLOL at the last picture. Crazy! I am a hugh Skinfood fan too, though I have never tried their cosmetics. Their skincare as well as all the masks are pretty awesome :)
ReplyDeleteomg i was sooo excited to see skinfood coming soon to my local mall. can. not. wait!!! did you end up going to isa? xx
