Wooo! Happy weekend! Had a great day with two of my closest friends where we watched "Friends With Benefits" at our local AMC for $6! The movie was cute. Justin Timberlake is awkward...but still cute. heh. Even though the storyline was pretty similar to "No Strings Attached," I still enjoyed it. ^^
Afterwards we had a nice lunch at a local Japanese restaurant and then headed to Yogurtland for the Sanrio promo~ SOO KAWAII~!
After that, we headed to a local nail supply store, but I ended up just looking around. Surprisingly they had all the new collections from China Glaze ("Metro") and OPI ("Miss Universe"). Then, we headed to a local thrift store just to look around. It was my first time "thrift shopping," and the only section I really looked at was for purses. Found some pretty good vintage Dooney and Bourke bags, a small black Longchamp bag, a BALLY one that I liked, as well as Coach and some other ones. The designer bags were $37.50, which is really good. But today...I didn't feel like spending anything. Maybe next time~ also stopped by LUSH but...didn't get anything there either even though I've been wanting to go visit a location for the longest time. -sigh- Must save for now!
In the evening, my mom and I headed out to meet with my relatives since some were visiting from Arizona. (My mom was born and raised in Arizona, so we have a lot of family over there.) We had a full course Chinese dinner~ so good! I'm stuffed.
Then after that, we all did a boba run. Shared with my mom since I can't take caffeine so late at night. :3 Overall it was a great day. Lots of great company. It's been a while since we had a family dinner like that, so it was nice. ♥

It's the cup the cutest? :D They have different character spoons as well. Right now, the choice is between Hello Kitty and Chococat so naturally, I had to get the HK one!
Must stop photo op!

My cousin brought her two kids. Sooo cuute right? :D Gavin on the left, RIley on the right.
Riley! She's the sweetest little thing. Every time someone takes her picture, she always wants to see it and then smiles and laughs in satisfaction. Such a happy little girl. Love her. hehe

So cute!! I love anything Sanrio. My fav characters are Kuromi and My Melody! <3
ReplyDeleteThe HK cup is cute! I'm a die-hard Pinkberry fan, so it's a shame that Pinkberry isn't the one w/ these cute cups & spoons! I really need to get back into thrifting! The thrift stores here in LA seem to hold treasures, unlike the ones in Orange County!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! So jealous :( I love frozen yoghurt and combined with hello kitty?! Super cute. I wish we had one where I live :( Green tea flavour is my favourite! hehe Riley is so cute :)
ReplyDeleteWahhhh I saw this HK cup and I was like "Cuuuuute"
ReplyDeleteWe don't have Yogurtland or anything Sanrio related v_v
The kids are so cute btw :)

ReplyDeleteand the HK cups are also very cute! i would totally buy that yogurt LOL! xD
I wonder if our Yogurtland is doing the HK promo too now? I know that there was a TokiDoki one a while back and we ate there till I gathered all of the spoons. We have a graduation party to go to tonight and it'll most likely be Hawaiian food (UGH!) so I'll make the hubby take me to Yogurtland after.
ReplyDeleteRiley is so cute! I want one of those!
lol that store looks super cute.. wish we had something like that where i live
ReplyDeleteYour cousins kids are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI want that poster on the door hehe.
Wow... that is so cute. I super love hello kitty. I wish we have that one here in Phil.
ReplyDeleteAww Riley's adorable! And the Hello Kitty cup's super cute too! It would be such a waste if that was thrown in the trash bin! :( The movie Friends with Benefits isn't being shown here yet but i'm looking forward to seeing it, though!
ReplyDeleteBaby Riley is so cute! yogurtland x sanrio - if they had it in the East Coast, I will be sure to go everyday haha.
ReplyDeleteahh, such a cute post! Little Riley is so adorable! Looks like such a happy girl.
ReplyDeleteThanks. :] She really is adorable and such a ham. hehe
ReplyDeleteHehe, thanks! Aww, hopefully the east coast can get this promo too~ I really like that spoons and I think it makes eating frozen yogurt that much more enjoyable. :P
ReplyDeleteShe is right? hehe. I know right! When I was cleaning out my little Sanrio container...I saw some in the trashcan. =[ Ah~ you should go see it. Justin Timberlake makes the movie worth it. :P
ReplyDeleteIt is cute! :D Aww~ I wish they could have one over there for you too~
ReplyDeleteAww, it is! Makes eating frozen yogurt so much more enjoyable. XD
ReplyDeleteAh, I don't remember CA having a tokidoki one...but cute!! Did you end up checking out your local Yogurtland location? ^^
ReplyDeletehehe. She's adorable~
She is! And such a ham. :P
ReplyDeleteHaha~ I KNOW RIGHT. I wanna collect all the spoons... :3
hehee, I KNOW RIGHT! I saved it...don't know what I'm gonna use it for yet, but it's definitely too cute to throw away. heh
ReplyDeleteAwwww...boo...Sanrio is always so cute though. =[
Thanks! ^^
Awww, I wish they had a location where you are! Hehe, she is cute huh...XD
ReplyDeleteI remember when Pinkberry was the only froyo place (in Koreatown) that I could go to that was "local." There's so many now! haha. But yes, Sanrio can make anything cute. :P
ReplyDeleteIt was my first time thrifting and it was a fun trip (even though I didn't buy anything...). I haven't been to any in downtown LA though...but I'm sure they have great treasures though. I'd assume the OC would have some pretty good stuff too, no?
Hehe. Agreed...Sanrio is just too cute and reminds me so much of my childhood. XD My favorite is Pochacco but he was discontinued. Sadness. =[
ReplyDeleteYup, hubby took me last night (Sunday night). Unfortunately, there's a sign that said starting July 28th. Good news is that hubby will take me back for more yogurt. =)
ReplyDeleteYay! That is good news. :D I actually went again to Yogurtland today with my mom to get the Chococat spoon. XD
