"Care to take a stroll in the park?" "Quite so. Most specifically in a British "Green Park" if you wouldn't mind. "
I'm quite the "neutrals" type of gal, but lately I've been trying to add more color into my everyday looks. When receiving this little palette from Jian during this past holiday season, I was super excited since it would be my first time trying out Rimmel shadows.
These palettes were first released in the UK around Dec.'11 (correct me if I'm wrong), but have reached the states! I don't think they're permanent, but I saw a display filled with them at my local Walgreens a few weeks ago.
Isn't the packaging the cutest?
(Sorry for the mis-swatch next to the yellow gold. The small crevices are a bit difficult to work with, so one must me extra cautious when applying the shades that are in the small regions.)
In her little note, she mentioned that these were so pigmented when swatching them, and she was right! They're gorgeous and super smooth and easy to blend. I really love the yellow gold and the darker, olive green shade. They're all lovely when applied together though. Along with that, they're super soft as well~ so one must also be careful not to apply too much pressure.
Lighting is a bit off in this pic, but it creates a nice golden/green eye. Love it!
If you haven't tried Rimmel shadows before, I recommend these little Glam'Eyes for 1.) their cute packaging, and 2.) their buttery smooth and pigmented shadows! I'm even tempted to pick up some more for myself...but I'm not. Or am I? o_o Make sure to check your local drugstores soon!
Thank you again, Jian!! ^^ And thank you guys for reading. ♡
I haven't tried Rimmel shadows before, but I must say that the packaging is sooo cute! The swatches definitely look good! These seem a lot better than some of Rimmel's other eyeshadows.

Yes, these are pretty much permanent in the UK and they're such cute mini palettes! So good for traveling. I should have a proper look next time I am shopping.
ReplyDeleteAre they as pigmented as the Wet'n'wild eyeshadows? ;D if so, i might try to get my hands on these once they (hopefully) release here in NZ!
